Kifubon is a Japanese word meaning
to share by book donations.

Kifubon South Pacific Inc is a not-for-profit humanitarian organisation registered in the state of Victoria, Australia.

Established in 2017, Kifubon South Pacific Inc is part
of a global, socially responsible project and as a gesture
of humanity, is helping to create a culture of understanding, empathy and compassion by donating and sharing inspirational books throughout the South Pacific region.

We seek donations to purchase books with an inspiring message and donate them to individuals and organisations who provide care and support to people in need. Click onto the page who received books to see a list of recipients.

Our goal is to distribute 4,500 copies across the region by
the end of 2018.

The Kifubon project originated in Japan in 2006 and has grown to include South Africa, Portugal, Brazil, United Kingdom, Uruguay, Cambodia, Malaysia, Japan, Australia, Fiji
and New Zealand.

‘…something our staff would really benefit from…a great resource’

…we appreciate the donation of these unique books. We will be sharing them with
our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.

non-Indigenous Australians.
